When you take your foot off the clutch to move the car, the disc is pressed against the gearbox causing the gears to turn. It is made of a very strong material which allows it to slip a little as it touches the gearbox plate, giving you a smooth take off.

The flywheel helps to give a smooth transfer of engine power to the drive train. It allows for a much smoother drive. We can supply and fit flywheels at our centre. These are fully tested before we return them to you and come under warranty
